Founder, Director & Coach
Vicky Coxhead
Vicky Coxhead is the founder of NeuroHappiness.
A qualified coach with a degree in special education and disability, and a Master’s in Psychology, Vicky also works part-time in Cornwall’s NHS autism assessment team.
She’s a trained Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training (OMMT) facilitator and delivers the National Autism Training Programme (NATP) nationwide.
She founded NeuroHappiness out of lived experience — as a parent of four neurodivergent children, each with different needs, and as someone diagnosed later in life as autistic, ADHD, and dyslexic. She understands first-hand the worry, the overwhelm, and the long search for answers — but also what can truly help a neurodiverse family thrive.
Through NeuroHappiness, Vicky brings together personal insight, professional expertise, and years of real-world experience.

Communications Director
Alex Duff
Alex Duff is an accomplished communicator who creatively turns the complex into compelling. Be they written or spoken, the stories, scripts, and soundbites she’s sculpted over the years have been seen and heard on an international business stage.
Over the course of her 25-year career, she has worked with many neurodivergent senior leaders at some of the UK's most loved household brands.
At NeuroHappiness, Alex supports Vicky Coxhead behind the scenes with both communications, operations, and administration.
She is particularly passionate about amplifying lesser-heard voices and giving them a platform. She co-hosts Just Another Neurotype - a monthly radio show dedicated to all things neurodivergence.
Having already published a work of non fiction, Alex's is now turning her hand to fiction. She's hyper focused on fictional storytelling techniques and how they can connect mass audiences to pressing issues and bring them into the cultural mainstream.
Her second book, now well underway, is a novel rooted in the real-world hurdles SEND parents must overcome to secure a fair and just education for their children.

Digital Lead
Josh Williams
Josh Williams is an Assistant Psychologist with a deep-rooted passion for autism and mental health. His journey into psychology began after witnessing a close family member’s struggles with mental health - an experience that not only influenced his professional direction but also sparked a lifelong commitment to supporting others and deepening his own self-understanding.
Raised in a neurodivergent household, with an autistic mother and personal experiences of tics, Josh brings an authentically personal perspective to his work. Over the past several years, he has worked closely with autistic adults in a variety of settings. His additional training in sensory integration enhances his approach, enabling him to offer nuanced and individualised support.
Josh earned his Psychology degree from the University of Derby and now specialises in autism as an Assistant Psychologist. He has a particular interest in the history of autism and psychology, believing that understanding where we’ve come from is key to shaping where we’re headed.
Outside of work, Josh values balance and practices that keep him grounded. He is passionate about sport and fitness, mindfulness, and caring for his growing collection of bonsai trees. A keen reader, he’s often found with a book in hand - though he often has several on the go at once.

Founder of Aloha Kakou Shaka Surf Club
Aiden Coxhead
Aiden Coxhead is a pioneering surf coach and the founder of Aloha Kākou Shaka — a surf club for anyone neurodivergent and specifically designed to welcome those with a learning disability.
Born and raised on England’s south coast, Aiden understands the power of the sea — to heal, connect, and build confidence.
Autistic with a PDA profile, Aiden also has a learning disability, severe dyslexia, and cystic fibrosis, yet he’s never allowed labels to define him.
He was the first in the world with his level of intellectual need to qualify as an RNLI beach lifeguard, later earning his ISA surf coach certification.
Through Aloha Kākou Shaka, Aiden's creating a safe space where neurodivergent and learning disabled people can learn to surf and socialise.
He's also campaigning to make learning disability an official category in adaptive and para-surfing competitions, so athletes like him can compete on a level playing field.
His dream? To surf the world competitively, by building a global movement for inclusion in the sport he loves.
“I want people like me to have the same chance to surf, smile, and feel proud. That’s what Aloha Kākou Shaka is for.”
